Mission

The Institute for Communal Contemplation and Dialogue is a 501c3 organization founded in 2002 and organized to educate, resource and organize people of faith to reflect, analyze and act on the critical issues of church and society through a process of contemplation and dialogue.
The Institute contributes to, fosters, and facilitates the larger movement for the transformation of consciousness so as to create new responses to the crises of our time and to cultivate a healthy Earth community.
The Institute’s unique contribution is its emphasis on engaging the experience of impasse through communal contemplation and dialogue; its rootedness in spirituality; its commitment to experiential processes and to creating new and safe spaces within which to do the work.
The Institute is under the auspices of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Monroe, Michigan and is very grateful for their support.
